The different kind of ferries

Color Line is Norway's largest shipping company in both international passenger and freight transport to and from Norway and is one of the leading shipping companies in European short-haul shipping. The tour operator Color Line offers more than 60 years of tradition and experience. The so-called cruise ferries Color Magic and Color Fantasy depart daily from Kiel and also offer attractive mini-cruises with a stay of several hours in Oslo.

However, the cruise ferries "Color Magic" and "Color Fantasy" are also used for travelling. Depending on the weather, each passage lasts around 20 hours.

During this time, you can enjoy the ship's amenities, sometimes at an extra charge. For example, you have the opportunity to use a golf simulator, the spa or the fitness centre. In the evening you will be entertained by live bands and can dance the night away.

Various restaurants on the boulevard, the buffet restaurant or the à la carte restaurant with breathtaking views offer the discerning palate all kinds of choices. Accommodation is provided in modern cabins.

Vacation at Sea interline rates apply to active (or retired) airline employees and their accompanying persons in the same cabin.
Some cruise lines also accept parents and/or spouses of airliners – even if the airliner doesn’t travel himself.
Many offers are also available for employees working at flight control, airports and air cargo.
Proof of entitlement (ID) must be received by VaS with every booking or has to be visible in your profile.

PEP rates apply to active employees of travel agencies and tour operators, as well as their accompanying person (s) in the same cabin.
Employees of OTAs, mobile brokers and CC-Agents can usually also profit from Vacation at Sea special rates.
Retired travel agents with proof of entitlement can be accepted by specific cruise lines. This case is an exception to the rule.
