AROYA Cruises was only founded at the end of 2024 as the world's first Arab cruise company. The company is part of Cruise Saudi, a company owned by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund PIF. The fleet currently includes the ship ‘Aroya’, which was originally built as the ‘World Dream’ for Dream Cruises. Following an extensive refit in Bremerhaven and Rotterdam, it was redesigned for the Arabian market and renamed ‘Aroya’ in 2024.
The Aroya is a 335-metre-long ship with 1,678 cabins and space for more than 3,300 passengers. On board there are 29 restaurants, lounges and cafés, a 1,018-seat theatre, a spa area and numerous leisure facilities for families. The design reflects Arabian culture, with luxurious facilities and a focus on wellness and family-friendliness.
In winter, the Aroya cruises in the Orient, in summer 2025 from and to Istanbul in the Eastern Mediterranean.
